Meet the Owners: Brian & Amy Makarski Charm City Eats is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Brian and Amy Makarski, who turned their love of great food and Maryland roots into a Tampa Bay food truck favorite. Amy is a Baltimore, Maryland native, and Charm City Eats was created to bring the flavors she grew up with to Florida. The menu is inspired by the foods Baltimore and Maryland are known for—from lump crab cakes and Old Bay favorites to crab-loaded comfort food with a creative twist. Brian and Amy have built Charm City Eats as a true family-run business. You’ll often find them working side by side on the truck, serving neighborhoods, businesses, private parties, festivals, and community events throughout Tampa Bay. For them, Charm City Eats is about more than serving food. It’s about bringing a little piece of Baltimore to Tampa Bay, getting to know the people they serve, and creating the kind of local business customers are excited to see pull into their neighborhood.
