Plain English. No Legalese.
Here's exactly what you're signing up for when you list your truck on FleetEatsNow — no surprises, no hidden terms.

The short version
You set your price. You keep your price.
We charge the customer a service fee — not you.
All payments
We collect the full payment from the customer upfront at checkout and handle the entire payment process. You never have to chase money.
Booking logistics
We confirm the event details with the customer, send them reminders, and answer their questions before the event.
Marketing & exposure
Your truck profile is listed on fleeteatsnow.com where Tampa Bay businesses and event planners are actively looking to book.
Cancellation protection — YOU pick the terms
Choose your own cancellation tier (Flexible / Strict / Super Strict) in your dashboard. Late cancellations mean you still get paid — and YOU decide what 'late' means. See Section 04.
Automatic payouts
We pay your full quoted price automatically within 3 business days after the event. No invoicing. No chasing.
Show up
When you accept a booking, you commit to showing up on time, fully staffed, and ready to serve. This is non-negotiable.
Respond within 2 hours
When a booking request comes in, you have 2 hours to accept or decline. After that, we may reassign the booking to another truck.
Keep your calendar current
Block off dates you're unavailable. If you accept a booking on a date you can't do, that's on you.
Deliver what you promise
Serve the menu you listed. If you need to make substitutions, communicate with the customer in advance.
Be professional
You represent FleetEatsNow at every event. Treat customers the way you'd want to be treated.
How pricing works
You set your per-person rate and minimum booking value when you list your truck. Customers see an estimated total based on their guest count. Final pricing is confirmed at checkout.
Full payment upfront
Customers pay the entire booking amount at checkout. This means no chasing balances and clean cancellation math for everyone.
Your payout timeline
We transfer your full quoted price within 3 business days after the event date. Payments go directly to your bank account on file.
Example
120 guests × $25/person = $3,000 (your price). Customer pays $3,450 ($3,000 + $450 service fee) at checkout. Your payout: $3,000 — deposited automatically 3 days after the event.
You pick your cancellation tier
Choose Flexible (default), Strict, or Super Strict in your dashboard. Your tier governs how much customers get refunded when they cancel — and how much you keep. Pick what protects YOUR business model. You can change tiers once every 30 days.
Flexible tier
Customer gets 100% refund 14+ days out, 50% refund 7–13 days out, no refund within 7 days. You keep what's not refunded. Good for casual events, office lunches, pop-ups.
Strict tier
Customer gets 100% refund 30+ days out, 50% refund 14–29 days out, no refund within 14 days. Good for weddings, large events, higher-prep cuisines (BBQ, seafood).
Super Strict tier
Customer gets 100% refund 60+ days out, 50% refund 30–59 days out, no refund within 30 days. For high-end catering or specialty trucks where you turn down other bookings to hold the date.
24-hour day-of floor (all tiers)
Customers who cancel within 24 hours of event start get NO refund, regardless of which tier you picked. You keep 100% — food prep is done and the opportunity cost is total.
Free 24-hr window after booking
Customers can cancel within 24 hours of placing the booking for a full refund (overrides the tiers). This protects against booking mistakes. After 24 hours, your tier applies.
Snapshot model
When a customer books, your CURRENT tier is locked onto that booking. If you later change your tier, existing bookings keep the old terms. Customer fairness — and no rug-pulls in either direction.
If YOU cancel
Notify us immediately. Customer gets a full refund. Repeated cancellations may result in removal from the platform.
Force majeure
Weather, emergencies, equipment failure — we're reasonable. Contact us as soon as you know and we'll work it out together.
You can leave anytime
No contracts to break. No cancellation fees. Just let us know and we'll remove your listing. Any pending bookings must be honored or cancelled per our cancellation policy.
Active bookings
If you have upcoming confirmed bookings, you're expected to fulfill them before deactivating your account.
SMS is opt-in and optional
Giving us your phone number does NOT enroll you in SMS. To receive any text messages from FleetEatsNow, you must explicitly tick the dedicated 'Send me SMS' checkbox at signup (truck owners) or at the booking contact step (customers). The checkbox is never pre-checked and you can complete signup or booking without it.
What we send (transactional only)
Truck owners who opt in receive SMS for new booking requests, customer cancellations, payout notifications, and event reminders. Customers who opt in receive SMS for booking confirmation, day-before event reminders, and refund updates. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS — strictly transactional.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any FleetEatsNow SMS to immediately opt out of all future text messages. Reply HELP for support information, or email booking@fleeteatsnow.com. Opting out does not affect your account or bookings — we'll still email you about everything important.
Message frequency
Frequency varies based on your booking activity. Truck owners typically receive 2–8 messages per booking. Customers typically receive 3–5 messages per booking.
Full SMS policy
Detailed opt-in flow, message types, fees disclosure, and privacy info: see our dedicated messaging policy at fleeteatsnow.com/sms-policy.
You keep ownership. Any photos, menus, descriptions, or other content you upload to FleetEatsNow remain your property. We don't claim ownership of your stuff.
You grant us a marketing license. By uploading content to FleetEatsNow, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content across our marketing and operating channels — including the FleetEatsNow website, Google Business Profile, social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), email campaigns, paid ads, brochures, and pitch decks. The point: marketing your truck and the marketplace at the same time.
We'll credit you where it makes sense. When we feature your photos on social or our Google profile, we tag and credit you so traffic flows your way too. Driving customers to FleetEatsNow drives them to your truck.
Removal on request. If you want a specific photo or piece of content removed from our channels, email booking@fleeteatsnow.com — we'll pull it within 48 hours. Removal applies going forward; we don't track down every place a piece of content may have been embedded by third parties.
You warrant you have the right to upload. By uploading content, you confirm it's either yours or you have permission to use it. Don't upload someone else's copyrighted photos — that puts both of us at risk.
You're an independent business. Listing on FleetEatsNow doesn't make you our employee. You're responsible for your own licenses, permits, insurance, food safety compliance, and taxes.
We can remove listings. We reserve the right to remove any truck from the platform for repeated cancellations, poor reviews, or conduct that damages the FleetEatsNow reputation.
Pricing changes. Our 15% fee is locked in for the foreseeable future. If we ever change it, we'll give you at least 30 days notice.
This agreement will evolve. FleetEatsNow is new and growing. This document reflects our current policies. As we grow, we'll formalize this into a proper legal agreement — always with advance notice to our truck partners.
